About Progressive PT and Rehab
We are a PT-owned and operated private outpatient practice specializing in evidence-based manual techniques combined with clinical experience. We have two locations in Orange County: Costa Mesa/Newport Beach and Irvine/Lake Forest. Our highly skilled staff are residency-trained and work together for continued mentorship. We primarily see PPO and Medicare patients. We have no HMO contracts, which allows for quality patient time.
We specialize in orthopedics, sports inury rehab, vestibular rehab, neuromuscular issues, balance and fall prevention, joint hypermobility and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, osteoporosis and pelvic floor disorders. Therapists are encouraged to develop specialized niche programs that are supported by our marketing department. We believe strongly in continuing education and will support you in that effort.
We are proud of the reputation we have earned in the community and the trust we receive from health care providers. We have a strong patient base that is growing and looking for individuals who can make a difference in the lives of their patients.
We offer a competitive salary, PTO hours, medical compensation, continuing education, and a retirement program.

Physical Therapist: Irvine/Lake Forest (Full-time or Part-time)
Remember why you became a physical therapist?
Maybe you became a physical therapist because you experienced physical therapy yourself. Maybe you watched someone you love recover from an injury or a difficult condition. Or maybe you were simply fascinated by what the human body could do—and what the right treatment could give back to someone. Whatever brought you into the profession, we believe that curiosity and passion shouldn’t disappear once you start practicing.
At Progressive Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, we’re looking for a Physical Therapist who wants more than a job. We want someone who enjoys solving difficult clinical problems, wants to keep learning, and has an area of physical therapy they’re excited to explore and develop. We’re a therapist-owned practice built around clinical excellence, hands-on care, mentorship, and long-term professional growth.
Build the Career You Want
Have an area of physical therapy you’re passionate about?
We want to help you build it.
At Progressive PT, therapists have developed specialized areas of practice, including SI Joint Dysfunction, EDS and joint hypermobility, aquatic sports, pelvic health, osteoporosis, and other areas of specialized care. You don’t have to arrive with a fully developed program. If there’s a patient population or area of clinical care you’re genuinely interested in, we’ll help you develop your knowledge, refine your clinical skills, and explore ways to build that interest into a meaningful part of your practice.
Our clinical and marketing resources can help turn an idea into something real—from developing educational content and patient resources to building visibility around your area of expertise. You don’t need to arrive as an established specialist. If there’s an area of physical therapy you’re passionate about, we’d like to help you develop it.

We treat a wide range of conditions and are proud of the areas of clinical expertise our therapists have developed, including:
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation
- Chronic Pain & SI Joint Dysfunction

- Neurologic & Vestibular Rehabilitation
- Manual Therapy
Practice Physical Therapy—Not Just Manage a Schedule
We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions, including many complex cases. If you enjoy figuring out why a patient isn’t getting better and developing a thoughtful treatment approach, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to grow here.
Keep Growing as a Clinician
Learning doesn’t stop when you graduate.
Our therapists regularly discuss challenging cases, share clinical reasoning, and learn from one another. We invest in continuing education and mentorship because becoming a better clinician is an ongoing process. For therapists interested in advancing their manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills, we fully reimburse tuition for the Learning Movements Residency Program ($2,500 value). Whether you’re a new graduate building your foundation or an experienced therapist refining your skills, we want you to keep developing.
A Career that Leaves Room for Your Life
Our goal is simple: finish your work at work.
We believe a fulfilling career shouldn’t require you to give up your life outside the clinic. Our therapists work a variety of schedules, including combinations of full and half days, with scheduling designed to support both patient care and a sustainable life outside of work. We provide built-in documentation time and use an AI-powered documentation scribe to reduce paperwork and after-hours charting. We also encourage our therapists to use their PTO. When you’re away, you shouldn’t have to spend your time off worrying about what will be waiting for you when you return.
